Legoland- Carlsbad

I loved the drive out to Carlsbad.  It was so beautiful, hills, ocean, green and that bright blue sky.  Our second half of our trip found us at a beautiful hotel with lots of space in our rooms, an awesome pool with lots of green plants surrounding it, trips to Target :), and of course the outlet mall down the hill from our hotel and that place called Legoland that brought us there in the first place.
Legoland lived up to it's reputation especially for the lego lovers.  I think the highlight of Legoland is miniland usa. Fantastic replicas of American cities as well as a few other famous locales.  We took so many pictures in miniland section- I don't think they will do justice to the detail of the lego building.

A few photos of hotel fun...I love this picture!

The kids had this done in the games room at the hotel.  Much cheaper (free) than to have it done at the parks.  All the kids had their faces done.  Skylar showed the girl her shoe and she did the converse symbol for her.
R2D2 made out of lego.
The knight from Summer's favourite ride.
Our girl loving her horses.
 Lombard Street a la lego.
MGM Grand in the Las Vegas section.
The president's motorcade and the Marine Corps memorial.  All lego.
more to come..
